Durability
Brass, polished nickel, ceramic, and handblown glass, chosen to be lived with. The metal pieces carry a living finish that patinas over time, so each one only improves with age. Years of daily use, not seasons of it.
Vessels & Vases

The Collection
Vessels & Vases
Every vessel here was shaped by an artisan, not a machine.
The kind of quality that's built to become tomorrow's heirloom.
Made by hand.
Made to last a lifetime.
Every vessel and vase in the collection is handcrafted by an artisan partner, designed in Montana and made around the world. They are made to do real work in your home, and to keep doing it for years.
Versatility
One vessel, a hundred small jobs. Flowers in the kitchen, brushes in the bath, keys and mail by the door, a candle nested on the wall. Beautiful enough to leave out. Useful enough to keep using.
Styling
Warm metals, soft glazes, and handmade texture work with what you already have. Set them on a shelf or a mantle, cluster a few on the table, or mount one on the wall. The room feels more collected the moment they arrive.
Craftsmanship
Each piece is handcrafted by an artisan partner, designed in Montana and made around the world. No two are exactly alike. Small variations in shape and finish are the mark of the maker, not a flaw.

Real rooms. Real rituals.
Our family story,
in every piece
Roan Iris began in Bozeman in 2009, founded by Nicole, a fourth-generation Montanan, and her husband Thomas. After the loss of her mother to cancer, Nicole began curating handcrafted homewares from artisans around the world, drawn to pieces that carried real meaning and were made to be lived with.
The name is an anagram of Nicole's mother's name, a quiet way of carrying her forward, and a nod to the iris that blooms wild across Montana. Every basket, bowl, and brass piece we sell honors that beginning. Made by hand, made to last, made to bring a little more warmth and presence into the rooms you live in.
